Libraries are important to communities for many reasons. They provide access to books for everyone, especially those who can't afford them. And, they provide access to new books, classics, digital media, newspapers and all types of media. They offer wonderful programs for children, adults, and teens helping to build relationships so people (especially seniors) aren't isolated. The programs they offer range from crafts, reading clubs, games, tax assistance, nature, and arts (music and art), again, making information, music, art, etc available to everyone in the community.

I love the library! Besides checking out books and dvds, I enjoy various activities my library hosts like arts & crafts and winter/summer reading. It's also a great resource for job stuff and getting involved in the community. Arthur Read said it best, "Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card".

This library makes Marlborough feel like home. Between borrowing books/movies/games, and attending library events, I want everyone to take advantage of this library's offerings.

Knowledge is strength and libraries allow everyone to become stronger. With fewer local newspapers and international correspondents, and more social media outlets, libraries are even more important than ever. I am a library junkie and belong to multiple networks so am able to request material from all of them. I brought my children up to love libraries and they are now avid readers.

I have 3 kids and we use the library all the time. It’s helped my kids become keen readers and they LOVE the free VR game days and other events. The magician and free icecream Sundays was our fave last year.
