I use our local Griswold Memorial Library to make copies a lot since I don't have a printer and to take out books since our budget is tight and I can't buy as many books as I would like. Also our library does many community driven events that bring people together in educational ways.

I moved to Colrain about 7 years ago and the library is the place I have met local folks and where I have connected to the community. So grateful!!

I love the Colrain Griswold Library for many reasons. It is a beautiful quality building, even though it is small. It is the only high quality building left in town. The programs and staff are awesome and they will get whatever books we need. Bill Dornbush is a great tech consultant, he has helped me with my iphone and also learning how to use GoogleDocs. An old person like me needs help to keep up with new technology. I also love how they are a repository of local historical documents like the stories and maps of Catamount Hill! Authors have used these records for writing about the history of the area. Without the library these records would not be accessible. The Staff is very friendly and helpful! The Town needs to continue to help maintain the building by upgrading the electrical service to support new technology.

Always helpful with "researching" topics and items. Discovered new museums and parks with their passes. Making copies, printouts. Book suggestions. But mostly--just a happy place to go with terrific, friendly librarians.

My library helps me access books for adult learning about my career and interests in creative ways! Especially the CWMars system. I get so many gorgeous books about architecture. Chelsea always has a great recommendation and does so much to facilitate community engagement. I am so grateful for GML and only wish there were more hours!

Entertainment - excellent books. Part of larger library network - able to get so many books. Programs - on health, cultural understanding

The library helps me to find books that I cannot find on CW MARS, they make wonderful recommendations and brighten my day. Yay Colrain!

The Griswold Memorial Library, Colrain, MA, has helped me in many ways: Access to books, of course, but more importantly I work from home and find it hard to concentrate in my bedroom office. I feel isolated. So I come with my computer to the Library and I get so much more done at the library. The librarians help me if I have a computer glitch and the work seems easier in the presence of books and scholarly and kind librarians.

It has helped me to connect with other members of my community, and to learn new skills (knitting).

It's helped me read more and it's fun.

My library has helped me find a love for reading and a way to be a part of my community.
